Recipe to replace the audio in a video file. The recipe will give you the option to add jobs to the cue, before actually processing and replacing the files.
- select the recipe and run it
- select a video and audio file
- (optionally set the offset for the audio file, if the audio file is shorter then the video file)
- click add to add this file to the process cue
- once you've added all files to the cue, click start to start processing the cue
Settings
If you like you can customize the script with a few settings. To do so click the tool icon at the right top. This will give you the following options:
- Preset: convert the video to a specific preset
- original, the video and audio codecs from the source file are used and no changes are made. Keep in mind that this could fail if the audio coded that is not compatible with the video codec.
- small mp4, render the file to a small and low quality mp4. the audio will be normalised to 0dBFS
- large mp4, render the file to a larger and higher quality mp4. the audio will be normalised to -14LUFS
- Custom folder: export the video to a specicific folder, when unchecked the video will be exported to the source video/audio folder
- Sub folder: create a subfolder and place the video there
- Source name: export the video using the name of the source video or audio file
- Name tag: add some text to the end of the filename
Offset
When you select the audio and video file, the recipe takes a moment to analyse the file and get the duration. If the audio file is longer then the video file, it will show you an extra option to offset (delay the audio) with a custom amount of frame
If it fails
The conversion could fail if the audio codec and video codec are incompatible. In that case open the settings and specify another preset to force a valid combination of audio and video coded.
